No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy To ensure fair access to appointments and to respect the time reserved for each client, the following policy applies to all bookings:
Appointment Cancellations If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer the appointment time to another client.
Late Cancellations Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will incur a late cancellation fee of $35 (unless a valid reason is given).
No-Show Appointments A no-show is when a client does not attend a scheduled appointment (in clinic, telephone or tele-health) and fails to notify the clinic.
No-shows will incur a no-show fee equal to the full consultation fee.
Why This Policy Exists - Dietitians reserve time specifically for each client. Missed appointments limit our ability to support other individuals who may be waiting for care. This policy helps ensure appointment availability and fairness for all clients.
Payment of Fees No-show and late cancellation fees must be paid before booking any future appointments.
These fees are not covered by Medicare, private health funds, or other third-party payers.
Exceptions - We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur. Fee waivers may be offered at the discretion of the dietitian in cases of emergencies or exceptional situations.
Agreement By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to this No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy.
