Dukkah Crusted Avocado or dukkah crusted anything really. This recipe is great eating with bread and olive oil, used as a coating on fish or meat. I used my coffee grinder to blend the ingredients, just be careful not to overdo it otherwise it will become too powdery.
Nut allergy? No problem, see below for 2 recipe options, with and without nuts. Dukkah • 1/2 cup Hazelnuts (roasted, unsalted) • 1/3 cup Almonds (roasted, unsalted) • 2 tbsps Sesame Seeds (white and/or black, toasted) • 2 tbsps Coriander Seed • 1 tsp Fennel Seed • 1 tsp Cumin (ground) • Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste) Nut-free Dukkah • 1 cup Sunflower Seeds (roasted) • 2 tbsps Sesame Seeds (white and/or black, toasted) • 2 tbsps Dried Thyme • 1 tsp Fennel Seed • 1 tsp Cumin (ground) • Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
